About Us
Equal Chance Boxing Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using boxing as a tool for growth, discipline, and positive change. We provide free training, mentorship, and a supportive community for individuals who deserve a real chance to build a stronger future.
Founder


Ivan Redkach
Ivan Redkach is a professional boxer, coach, and mentor dedicated to helping young people build confidence, discipline, and direction through sport.
Born in Ukraine, Ivan began boxing at the age of five and later became a member of the Ukrainian National Boxing Team. He represented his country internationally and competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Over his amateur career, he completed approximately 350 bouts.
In 2009, Ivan moved to the United States to pursue a professional boxing career. He competed on major international platforms including ESPN, Showtime, Fox Sports, and DAZN, and reached IBF title contention in 2015. He has trained under respected coaches such as Robert Garcia and Shane Mosley.
Today, Ivan focuses on mentoring children and young adults, especially those from underserved communities. Through boxing and structured training, he teaches discipline, respect, and perseverance, helping young people develop skills that extend far beyond the ring.

President & Board Chair
Vahe Parazyan
Vahe is a nonprofit leader focused on building sustainable programs that provide youth with structure, mentorship, and equal opportunities. Born in Armenia, he holds a degree in Economics and worked internationally across Russia and Europe before relocating to the United States. As President and Board Chair, Vahe oversees the foundation’s strategic direction and long-term sustainability, ensuring the organization delivers meaningful, lasting impact for children, teenagers, and young adults.
Vice President
Misak Gasparyan
Misak Gasparyan is a technology and systems engineering professional with extensive experience supporting large-scale organizations and complex infrastructure environments. He currently works as a Systems Engineer at the University of California, and has previously held senior engineering and systems administration roles in both the United States and Armenia. His background includes work with financial institutions, healthcare systems, and enterprise environments. As Vice President, Misak supports the foundation through operational oversight, technical guidance, and strategic planning, helping ensure the organization is built on a stable and sustainable foundation.
Chief Financial Officer
Hrach Ordubekyan
Hrach Ordubekyan is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning, advisory, and organizational leadership. After relocating to the United States in the late 1990’s, he built his career as a financial consultant and executive, working across a range of financial and operational roles. As Chief Financial Officer, Hrach oversees the foundation’s financial strategy, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring responsible management and long-term financial stability.
Founding Advisor & Strategic Partner
Serge Bagdasarov
Serge Bagdasarov brings nearly 30 years of experience building and leading youth sports and community-focused programs. He is the co-founder of Orion Sports Club in Kirkland, Washington, where he has helped develop boxing and combat sports programs centered on discipline, mentorship, and positive life skills. As a founding advisor, Serge supports the foundation with strategic guidance on program development, community partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
