FAQ - ECBF

Got Questions?

We've got answers. Here's everything you need to know.

Do I need boxing experience to join?
+

Absolutely not! Our programs welcome complete beginners. Whether you've never thrown a punch or you're returning to the sport, our certified coaches will meet you at your level and help you progress safely. We believe everyone can learn boxing—it's about dedication, not prior experience.

Is the program really free?
+

Yes, 100% free. No registration fees, no monthly dues, no hidden costs. We provide all equipment including gloves, wraps, and protective gear. Our mission is to remove every financial barrier so that anyone who wants to train can do so, regardless of their economic situation.

What should I bring to my first session?
+

Just bring yourself and comfortable athletic clothes! We recommend a t-shirt, athletic shorts or sweatpants, and sneakers. We'll provide all boxing equipment including gloves, hand wraps, and protective gear. Don't forget a water bottle and a positive attitude!

What age groups do you work with?
+

Our Youth Program serves ages 8-18, while our Recovery and Community Programs are for adults 18 and older. We create age-appropriate training environments to ensure everyone gets the most out of their experience. Parental consent is required for participants under 18.

How do I register for the program?
+

Registration is simple! You can sign up online through our website, call us directly, or visit our gym during open hours. We'll need basic information and a signed waiver (parental signature for minors). Once registered, you can start training immediately—no waiting period!

What if I miss a training session?
+

Life happens—we get it! We offer flexible scheduling across multiple weekly sessions, so you can make up missed training at another time. While consistency is important for progress, we understand that circumstances vary. Just communicate with your coach so we can keep you on track with your goals.
